PROVENANCE

Offered to the public for the first time: winner of National Art In Place competition in Charlottesville, VA, 2010. This oil was enlarged to a 12 X 25' mural along an interstate highway in Charlottesville, viewed by millions annually. Catherine perched along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park looking to the west, towards the Shenandoah Valley. The layers of mountains dissipated in the distance. And the colors! The blues next to the oranges - irresistible.
