This jackrabbit could be just about anywhere, but this one was in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Out at dusk, an unsettling hour when the wild animals begin foraging, I was taken by the light through his ears as well as his wariness. This is a Contemporary Fresco, 12 X 12 X 2” on cradled birchwood, ready to hang. It is varnished with three layers of archival varnish.
